This spec file reports a comparison of the late payment history of loans opened prior to a specific date compared to late payment of loans opened after a specific date. This is used to determine the effectiveness of your lending policies. Once the credit scores are available on the system, many other uses may be found for them. When sending out a loan promotion, those that have low credit scores may be excluded and those with high credit scores may be targeted for additional material or follow up. A credit card promotion for short term discounts and teaser rates could be based on risk category.
